It has been a long time!! I haven't spent the entire time working on researching. I had to actually deal with some clients from my day job. It has been on my mind every day that I couldn't get some information to you, especially when I read the comments and you are rewarding, complimenting and thankful. I read all of the comments that are posted and I see that I am doing the right thing, by posting my blogs. I am happy to know that I am helping a lot of you who has been running into the same issues that I experienced. I totally agree that everyone gives the same information, wants us to pay for it, and we still don't understand.
So this is what I found out on the topic "SEO". SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization, this is a very important avenue to getting your site viewed and ranked. Though there is either On Page Optimization or Off page Optimization, it is not as simple as it sounds.
Now, On Page Optimization, is the easiest to understand because it means the Search Engines focuses on the content on your site. Your keywords, description, title, and content is what lies under this title. Keyword selections are very helpful, you should try different ones and constantly check your rankings and views. There are many sites that can suggest keywords for you. I have not tried them, but I will soon. Now, on your search description, or meta description is another tool that the search engines use to place you in the search. You must also carefully describe your site and think of your competition. You don't want to use the same description as everyone who is offering the same as you. You also don't want to choose a description that doesn't explain what you are offering. You don't just want to receive page view, more importantly you want revisits. So you do not want to be misleading in your description. That goes for your title as well! Your domain name is also classified under On Page Optimization. I feel this is the highest ticket for your ranking, but there are so many competitors that may have the best domain name for what you are offering. EX: If you are a hair stylist and you can have a domain name with hairstylist, then every time someone searches for hairstylist you will rank at the top. Unfortunately it will not be that easy, just think and choose wisely on your domain name.
Off Page Optimizaion, is everything else, lol. I mean, link building, social interaction, blogging, public relations, viral marketing, branding, etc. It is everything that you do to help your site get picked up in a search. There is so many ways you can help get your site visited, and it is your official way of working online. This is where you will do most of your work in building your business. Each avenue I listed is definitely helpful but you do have to stay committed, which means you have to really want to build an online business. I started the ONLINE MALL, but to be honest I am more intrigued to making online shopping and working from home simple. Online is so overwhelming, it almost has too much information on the world wide web. Some people are like me, just want to click on one place to shop and get value information without sending you elsewhere or dealing with pop ups. So I will be remaining here to help. With the Off Page Optimization, there is so much to research, and talk about, so I think we will be on this topic for a while. What I choose to do is go by 1 sub topic at a time, therefore my posts will be a little shorter but it will discuss 1 topic related to the Off Page Optimization. I will go through as many as I can, and if you have questions then please ask. If there is something that I miss to all of you experts feel free to step in, but if you are looking for someone to sign up with you for a fee, this is not the site for that.
